I was first introduced to the amazing art of Marvel artist Esad Ribic when a friend of mine showed me a copy of his graphic novel for Thor And Loki : Blood Brothers.
The art work immediately stood out to me from most of the other Marvel comics ( granted, I’ve not seen that many ) because of the detailed and painterly style, which gives a certain 3-dimensional quality to the images, especially the rendering of flesh and fabric. The composition of the subjects in the panels are also very cinematic.
This art book showcases a healthy collection of Esad Ribic’s illustrations for Marvel titles like SECRET WARS, UNCANNY X-FORCE and THOR: GOD OF THUNDER, as well as many other art covers.

A fantastic collection of amazing Marvel art by Esad Ribic. I only with there was a hard cover edition of the book which would make it last longer. That said, the book still comes highly recommended.

Li-An – Yes indeed. His art work really stood out for me where most of the other drawing styles for Marvel comics are more 2-dimensional.
