Ghost In The Shell 1.5 – Human Error Processor is a comic by renowned manga artist Masamune Shirow. This book features 5 standalone stories featuring the characters from Section 9 that was drawn between the release of the original GITS manga (1991) and GITS 2 (2001), but have only been collected in a single volume in 2008.

Also included in this book are character design sheets for the Major, Tachikomas and supporting characters, found near the end of the book.

I’m a big fan of Shirow’s ( prior to his messy digital artwork phase ) and GITS, and one of the things I love more about the manga over the anime is the humor, which is completely missing in the latter ( for good reasons ). This one comes highly recommended.
