Dragonball Super (ドラゴンボール超) is a manga sequel to Toriyama Akira’s immensely popular Dragonball comic. After the defeat of Majin Buu, Goku encounters even more powerful foes in the universe, one of them called Beerus, the God of Destruction.

While the story is still written by Toriyama Akira, the art work is now drawn by an artist with the pen name Toyotarou, who does an admirable job of emulating Toriyama’s unique style. At passing glance, it would be pretty hard to tell that the drawings are not done by the original artist himself.

Folks who are fans of the original manga and are looking for a light read will certainly find this of interest. An English edition of the comic is also available, but this Japanese edition is great way to learn the language. The words and grammar used are simple and all Kanji characters comes with hiragana pronunciation.
