This post is a little behind time, but halcyonrealms.com is now a year old, ever since we moved from Blogger.com to Wordpress in early June last year. Just in case you are wondering how the name Halcyon Realms came about, its taken from one of my favourite pieces of electronica music, a track titled “Halcyon On and On” by Orbital. The track was also used in the opening sequence of Hackers (poster above), a film that had quite an impact on my life.
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all the folks out there who have been visiting this blog. Halcyon Realms’s readership has been growing steadily every month for the past year, (and still is, from what sitemeter’s stats say ), but paradoxically less and less readers post comments these days, as compared to say half a year ago. Maybe I’ve been doing too little to engage my readers, for which I apologize.
My Feedburner stats for this blog registers at least 200 subscribers, so there must be some returning readers, I think. Perhaps if you are one of them (and have never posted a comment) you can do a short self introduction by writing a comment for this post, and you will have my thanks. I’ll love to know who some of my readers are.
If not, well I thank you folks anyway, and please do come again. :]
