As part of the 10 year anniversary celebration of the anime Tekkon Kinkreet ( directed by Michael Arias, based on the original manga by Taiyo Matsumoto ), Studio 4°C published a characters art book earlier this year ( read book review here ).

The celebration continues with the crowdfunding for the Storyboard Book ( fully funded as of August 3rd ). You can still get a copy of the book before the funding ends on August 12th 2016.

The A5 sized book ( 2500 yen ) will feature the full storyboards used during production, and runs at 672 pages. Below are some sample images taken from Studio 4°C’s crowdfunding page :

As with the Characters art book, it is possible that the storyboard book will eventually be available from Amazon Japan at a later time, but at the time of writing it is not yet listed. Fans of Tekkon Kinkreet who do not wish to wait to find out should place an order for the book at Studio 4°C’s crowdfunding page, which also comes with some additional limited edition merchandize.

I also highly recommend the Shiro / Kuro art books, which I feel are some of the best anime art books ever published.
