Picked this up a while back when I was in Tokyo – a collection of 32 beautiful postcards from the Ghibli animated film Kaguyahime (The Tale of Princess Kaguya), directed by Isao Takahata.
The backgrounds are painted by renowned Ghibli background artist Kazuo Oga, who also took on the role of art director in this animated film. Most of these postcard illustrations can also be found in the Kaguyahime art book ( read review here ).
A perfect little gift for any Ghibli fan. The book is priced at 900 yen so each card comes to about 30 yen (about 25 cents).
