The Art of Love, Death + Robots Book Review

Getting pretty excited indeed for Guillermo del Toro‘s stop-motion animation take on Pinocchio; the animation, set/character design and art direction all look stunning as seen in this short making of clip below –

I believe comic/concept artist Guy Davis, a long time creative collaborator of Guillermo del Toro is also involved in the film, which can only mean good things !

I’m also certain that the eventual accompanying art/making of book for the film will be filled with amazing concept art by Guy Davis and many other artists, so I’m definitely looking forward to that as well. I highly recommend checking out all the art/making of books for Guillermo del Toro’s films.

Pinocchio will be out on Netflix in December, and also playing in select theaters from November.

I really want to see it in theatres, but I have my doubts that it’ll come to Edmonton. (I’m still so excited to see this, regardless of the format)

Coffee – Same here ! Not even sure they’ll screen it in theaters in Vancouver either.
