After a very long wait my copy of Park Chan Wook’s Vengeance trilogy finally arrives in the mail. I’ve not seen these for quite a while ( granted, they are not movies you want to watch everyday ) so I’m eager to revisit them on Blu-ray.<\/p>\n

There’s enough gore and violence spread between these 3 films to keep me up for many sleepless nights so I better pace myself. A US remake of Old Boy is in the works, helmed by Spike Lee and starring Josh Brolin – I’m interested to see how the film will turn out through the vision and treatment of an American director.<\/p>\n

The tin case boxset also comes with a 30 page booklet with some additional background on the films, as well as an interview with the director.<\/p>\n
