Some screen captures from episode 5 of Freedom. The dvd went on sale yesterday.

This episode focuses on Takeru and Bisu’s first encounter with Ao ( the girl in the photograph at the end of Freedom 1 that sparked off Takeru’s entire adventure ), and is fairly low on action until the near end when the hurricane sequence starts. Many fans here in Japan have also voiced their disappointment in discussion forums regarding the complete absence of Kazuma ( a hot favorite among Freedom fans apparently ), well, I guess they’ll have to wait for a while longer. :]
Freedom 5’s last shot ( image above ) is particularly memorable to me as I was tasked to pen Takeru’s message to his friends on earth. The message was written on paper and then scanned for compositing with this shot.

but in the screenshot, the words seem a bit too sharp and black to blend in well….
