Scarlett Johansson for Mango’s latest collection. Love the photography.

The photographer’s ( much obliged if someone can tell me who he/she is ) use of intense, complimentary blues and reds both accentuate and bring contrast to the subject / blue of her eyes, and in the background her frame is always supported by a network of either sweeping diagonals or strong verticals and horizontals. Of course, Scarlett’s handsome face is easy on the eyes too. Awesome work.

While we’re on the subject of Scarlett, does anyone have any idea when they’re going to release the blu-ray for her film “Girl With A Pearl Earring”, ( see below ) shot by the amazing DP Eduardo Serra ? Now that is one beautiful, beautiful film, and on one of my favourite painter’s no less, Vermeer.
