A set of character posters have just been released for the life-action film adaptation of Isayama Hajime’s cult hit manga Attack On Titans ( Shingeki No Kyojin ). The costumes and weapons look pretty faithful to the original designs from the manga and anime, but I’m not sure if l like the tacky lens flares.

I’m usually against the idea of Japanese originals been turned into international remakes but perhaps Attack On Titans is an exception; the story’s universe can certainly benefit from a bigger production/vfx budget and an international cast. Perhaps if the Japanese adaptation gains enough traction this may yet happen.
