The Art Of God Of War Book Review

Santa Monica Studio’s God Of War is one of the best games I’ve played in quite a while. There’s so much to like about the game; the tremendous graphics, the tense game-play, the rich Norse mythology woven into the story, and much more. I only wished it was longer; but I’m sure we have sequels to look forward to now that it has won the Game Of The Year awards, among many other accolades.

This official art book for the game delves into the incredible concept art created during pre-production, with tons of environment, character, creature, weapons and prop designs. The level of attention to detail really paid off in creating a truly immersive and believable world of Midgard that the game characters inhabit.

The Art Of God Of War Book Review

I had so much fun playing this game, and many a times I found myself stopping mid-game just to admire and drink in the rich and beautiful world that the artists have created. If you haven’t already played God Of War, I highly recommend it, together with this book.
