(I mentioned this art book previously in one of my Digest posts.)

Bravely Default is a role-play game developed by Square Enix, with art and character design by Akihiko Yoshida. Despite the game’s somewhat silly name, Akihiko-san’s art work is gorgeous and this book contains a really sumptuous collection of the beautiful illustrations he has created for the game.

I enjoy both the artist’s regularly proportioned characters and the chibi-fied (dwarvish) versions.

(above) There’s even a small collection of storyboards that I presume are for the cut scenes in the game ?

I’ve not played Bravely Default before but I do so love Akihiko Yoshida’s art work, and this book is filled from cover to cover with it. Recommended.
