DISTRAKT

One of my all time favorites!

fantastic work. you can see that deep love for frazetta, not to mention 19th century illustrators. i even see a bit of frank cho and adam hughes in here.

I got this recently – it’s a great book. I sometimes cringe at the subject matter (and people always look like they have webbed fingers) but it’s a really comprehensive collection with tons of great art in a fairly unique and impressive style.

Can I add that there’s only 4 days to go for the Kickstarter for Schultz’s deluxe editions of Storms at Sea (will be a larger and slipcase edition) and Carbon 2. I have doubts about whether those editions could add anything as far as the presentation and appreciation of the art goes but some people like to have that special object and may like to know.

DISTRAKT – :]

martin – Definitely agree with you on the frazetta/adam hughes nods/influences.

Graham – Thanks for the heads-up on the kickstarter – here’s the link for any interested parties –
