Dominatrix Heaven is the third round of artistic collaboration between renowned Japanese erotic artists Hajime Sorayama, Rockin’ Jelly Bean and Katsuya Terada, following the success of the earlier two exhibitions Pussy Cat ! Kill ! Kill ! Kill ! (2014) and Tokyo Sweet Gwendoline (2018).

The art work collected in the book were also displayed at their Dominatrix Heaven exhibition held at the Vanilla Gallery in Ginza in May 2022. Here’s the exhibition synopsis –

The raging erotic trio who have produced taboo exhibitions such as“Pussycat!kill!kill!kill!” (2014) and “Tokyo Sweet Gwendoline” (2018) are back, hungrier than ever, ready to break the insular society and ring the gong with their powerful heroines.
The Big Three, who always transcends stereotypes of eroticism in top gear, are now ready to take on the new look for a heroine who’s glamorous, and a villain who’s fabulous.

Among the three artists, Hajime Sorayama’s realistic art work are the most sexually explicit of all, Rockin Jelly Bean’s illustrations often carry a touch of mischief and playfulness, and Katsuya Terada’s works are almost like some kind of erotic Deconstructivism, and I find his work the least overtly sexual despite nudity in his subjects.

Note : I’ve censored parts of some images which I deem too explicit for display. All art work are uncensored in the book.

(image above) This piece by Rockin’ Jellybean is an obvious nod to the famous Shunga work by Japanese artist Hokusai titled “The Dream Of The Fisherman’s Wife” ( image below ), which can be found in this art book.

The sexually explicit nature of these illustrations are probably not everyone’s cup of tea, but for those who enjoy high quality, tastefully illustrated erotic art work, there’s plenty to like in this book.

The huge size of the book certainly shows off the beautiful prints to great effect. The price tag is fairly high, likely due to the huge print size and probably low print count.
